“UPS driver Dallen Harrell noticed something familiar while delivering packages to Jess Kitchel’s home, he was seeing the same baby items that had been arriving at his own house.

As a new dad, Dallen quickly realized the packages were meant for the Kitchel family’s newborn. He even spotted the little stork sign in their yard that read, “IT’S A BOY!” after they returned from the hospital.

Instead of simply leaving the deliveries, Dallen took a moment to speak into their doorbell camera. He shared that he, too, was a new father and wished the family well with their baby.

“I just hope everything is going good,” he said warmly. “God bless, Happy Holidays.”

Jessica was deeply touched by his thoughtfulness and shared the moment on Instagram. She reflected on how easy it is to get frustrated with things like staff shortages, but Dallen’s gesture reminded her that kind people still exist in the world.

At first, Jessica didn’t know his name, but thanks to social media, the two connected. Dallen later visited the Kitchel family, met their new baby boy and daughter, and in return, Jessica shared his baby registry to support his growing family.

The story even caught the attention of a diaper company, which gifted Dallen’s family six months’ worth of diapers. Friends and family also chipped in, helping fulfill his registry.

Today, Jessica and Dallen share a special friendship, proof that kindness still exists, and sometimes, it’s delivered right to your front door.”
