This morning in my Biology 2 class at 7:30 a girl walked in carrying her baby. Yes, a whole baby in a college classroom that early in the morning. And all I could think was no excuses. Some people miss class because they woke up late or they are not feeling good. Meanwhile this girl showed up with her child in her arms determined to get her education no matter what. Her baby sat there on his best behavior the entire time. Some might look at that and call it unprofessional but I call it strength and dedication. She is showing what it means to chase a degree and better yourself by any means necessary. Let this be a little inspiration to anyone thinking about going back to school. No excuses, just progress and determination. ❤️
