I'm not too excited about the tell all since it will be more of the same. But, this bit about wanting to bring the other marriages to the same level as his marriage with R is interesting if only because it's somewhat true.
I agree with Janelle. It's mostly revisionist history. But, he did try to get his relationship with her specifically to be like his with R … starting last season. After Christine dumped him and he was having difficulties with Janelle die to his estrangement from their sons, he tried to "solve" the problem by pressuring her to become like R. Thankfully, Janelle refused.
I do think there's a lot of recency bias from all of them. This is an example of K projecting his current view of "All these women should act like R" on to the past decade and a half. Because the truth is, his relationship with Janelle was good until Flagstaff without her trying to be R.
If anything, this season, KR have been trying to recreate his relationship with Janelle with comical results.
