NEW: Anti-American Professor At Georgetown University Says He Hopes Iran Strikes A [U.S.] Base – X

In a now-deleted X post, Georgetown Professor Jonathan AC Brown said, “I hope Iran does some symbolic strike on a base, then everyone stops.”

The Professor had nearly 300k views before taking the post down, but unlike other social media platforms, posts on X are forever. The professor wrote:

“I’m not an expert, but I assume Iran could still get a bomb easily. I hope Iran does some symbolic strike on a base, then everyone stops. I’m surprised this is what these FDD/Hasbara people have been auto-erotically asphyxiating themselves for all these years. Ironically, the main takeaways (in my non-expert opinion, and I’m happy to be corrected) from all this have nothing to do with a US attack: 1) Iran can take a licking; 2) if Israel attacks Iranian cities, it gets f***ed up pretty bad. I mean I’ve been shocked at the damage Iranian missiles caused; 3) despite his best efforts, Reza Pahlavi HVAC repair services still only third best in Nova.”

Liberals were quick to defend the pro-Iran Georgetown Professor, with one X user replying, “I think this one says symbolic, I don’t think he wants any actual harm based on that phrase. Just something they can boast about, nobody gets hurt, and we can stop future deaths. But maybe I’m being generous there, but I don’t think he’s wishing physical harm on troops.” – Bobby Silver @BobbySliver_

However, others weren’t so kind to the professor, arguing that he knew exactly what he was doing, at that violence towards America was his intention. X user, Shild-Maiden replied to @Georgetown, “I hope Iran does some symbolic strike on a base”
Who do you think lives on a base? Our husbands, wives, sons, daughters, sisters and brothers. Call it for what it is, he is wishing harm.

Others were quick to call out the fact that “this idiot is a professor,” influencing our youth, Ira Wolfe wrote, “To think this idiot is a professor or any kind of influence on the youth is quite alarming. He better hope something like this doesn’t come to fruition. This school should seriously admonish or condemn such talk, and demand a public apology or be terminated. Wonder how many parents that send their children to this place know how this individual feels about American lives or military personnel being attacked if not killed?”
