Not long ago, Officer Pittman was on his way to work when he saw Jase was hurt. He had fallen off his bike and broken his wrist. Officer Pittman stopped right away to help. He stayed with Jase and kept him calm until we arrived. They even FaceTimed us from the back of the police car so we could see Jase was okay.
Then on Halloween, Officer Pittman showed up at our house to check in on him again. This time, he brought a sweet card, a balloon, a Chick-Fil-A gift card, and a big bag full of candy—some from him and some from the whole department.
This act of kindness meant so much to us. It made my heart happy, and I know it made a big difference to Jase too.
We truly love and appreciate our good police officers. Thank you for all that you do!
