Boulder’s Pearl Street turned into chaos when a man armed with a weapon doused victims with fire, leaving multiple people badly burned outside the county courthouse.
Officers arrived within minutes, rushed the wounded to hospitals, and—guided by eyewitnesses—arrested the suspect on the spot; he sustained only minor injuries.
Police locked down several downtown blocks and are still clearing a “vehicle of interest,” warning residents to stay away until the scene is declared safe.
