EQUITY: Chicago mayor, Brandon Johnson (D) OPPOSES cracking down on teens who take over the streets, explaining that his sons could be arrested.
“We have to stop as a city falling to some of the most ridiculous remedial forms of governments. It has not worked! […] What sense does that make? […] They could all be my son. They can all be my nephew.”
Johnson is worried that the crackdowns in Chicago are unnecessary and that his own sons might find themselves “gathering in spaces” that are being “targeted”.
