43 days sober today thanks to my dad. He’s a typical grumpy hispanic dad that shows no emotion so when he begged me to get help I had to do it. I came out so proud I stayed the whole time. I gave him my coin to put on his desk because he got me sober, I wouldn’t have the strength without him.

Also wanted to add I got 2 “awards” too. It’s a silly thing to be proud of, “yay i got an award in rehab!”, but I was really happy. I gave those to my mom and she framed them.
