Juan Soto finally got a big hit again.
The Amazin’s struggling $765 million man lashed a double with the bases loaded in the fourth inning of the Mets’ 5-2 win over the Dodgers on Saturday night at Citi Field.
Soto, who whose long double hit the top of the wall in right center field and narrowly missed being a grand slam, brought home Brett Baty and Francisco Lindor, but it wasn’t a bases-clearing hit as Starling Marte was thrown out at the plate to end the inning.
Nevertheless, Soto’s hit was still a big one that gave the Mets a 4-2 lead, an edge they wouldn’t relinquish.
Soto, who went 2-for-5, also singled in the third inning after he flew out to deep center in the first inning — two more possible signs the struggling star is about to bust out of his funk.
He flew out to left in the seventh, but hit the ball hard and grounded out to first in the eighth.
“It definitely feels better after so many hard balls hit, seeing one land is always good,” Soto said after the win.
Though the rest of the Mets’ lineup hasn’t been as good as expected at this stage of the season, all eyes have been on Soto’s hitting woes, especially in the clutch.
The Mets’ right fielder entered Saturday night hitting just .119 (5-for-42) with runners in scoring position, the fifth worst among those with at least 35 plate appearances in such situations, according to The Post’s Joel Sherman.
Before his double, Soto was in the midst of an 11-game span without an extra-base hit, the second-longest drought of his career.
He also was hitting .125 in that span.
The Mets and their fanbase can only hope Soto’s big hit on Saturday night is a sign of more positive things to come.
