JUST IN: Eric Swalwell Introduces A Bill That Will Move The Marshals Service To The Judicuary “Where It Belongs”.
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) said on X Tuesday that “No president should be able to tell Marshals when to enforce the law and when to look away. That’s why I introduced the MARSHALS Act — to move the Marshals Service to the judiciary, where it belongs.”
Swalwell then attached a link to a WAPO article titled “Trump officials accused of defying 1 in 3 judges who ruled against him,” pointing to a “comprehensive analysis of hundreds of lawsuits against Trump policies showing dozens of examples of defiance, delay and dishonesty which experts say pose an unprecedented threat to the US legal system”.
