I was just enjoying the vibe at a local event when I looked upโand there she was! Tamara Tunie, the incredible actress who plays Anita Dupree in Beyond the Gates, standing right in front of me!
I hesitated for a secondโwas it really her? But I took a deep breath, walked up, and asked. And yesโit was her! She was warm, gracious, and absolutely radiant. ๐ I told her how much I love her role, especially the tension and history between Anita and Vernon (you all know what I mean! ๐ฅ).
She was kind enough to take a photo with me, and I just had to share it with you all.
