So it seems like all of us are working on the Persian tiles blanket this summer. I started mine last summer but pulled it out last week to finish. I know it’s posted here all the time, but I wanted to show that it’s actually not that big (44.5’’ square or 110cm) if you use Special Dk/stylecraft and a 3.5-4mm hook. The pattern finished size is 45’’ square. I’m not fully done with the border and I’m adding tassels, but I just wanted to share the measurements on my blocking boards. This is using 16 tiles (per the pattern) and can easily be made bigger, but plan ahead if you wanted a bigger blanket. I feel like the pictures make it look bigger than it actually is. Widest to widest on my tiles is 27cm, pattern calls for a blocked measurement of 29. Overall, mine is the same size (minus half an inch) from the pattern measurement.

Btw- this is an excellent project to use scrap yarn. Seriously. Get a primary color and plan your scheme ahead of time, but it’s great for scrap yarn. I’ll probably make one once a year with scraps.
